First off, i just wanna say thanks so much to everyone who was praying for me for the camp i went on! It means an awful lot, and I'm sure I wouldn't have survived camp without it!!
Okay, so, my holidays...
23rd of december i went up with my family to stay with my grandparents in hervey bay. They live a block away from the beach and we go to their place most holidays. Christmas Eve, we went to the christmas service at nan and pops church, and my brother Aj and I played and sang "For the moments i feel faint" (or "never underestimate my jesus") by relient K. That went pretty well without any major stuffups. Christmas Day, family get-together of my pops side of the family. 35 visitors for lunch. That was alright, but the youngest apart from my brother and I was my second cousin Naomi who's 18, so we kinda went off on our own lol. That night I went to work with my nan (she's a nurse at a nursing home), working the night shift (3-11pm). Boxing day, famliy get-together of my nans side. 40 visitors for afternoon tea. This was a lot more fun cause a heap of my second cousins who're around my age were there, so some of them and I spent the arvo together playing games and jumping off the roof (shh, i didn't say that!) and goin down to the beach for a little while n stuff like that. Day after that was just stayin at nan and pops place.
Thursday of that week (two days after boxing day) we were sposed to be going down to maryborough and camping with some old friends of ours (we used to live in maryborough!), but the weather was too whacked and rainy for skiing, so we cancelled. Instead we drove down to maryborough and stayed a day and night at our friends' place. When the weather cleared up a bit, we drove down to the Mary river and went out skiing and kneeboarding for a while, but that was kinda cut short. We've been skiing on that river for years, with never a problem, but we just so happened to hit a rock bank in the middle of the river, and totally tore up the propellor of the boat. Then it took us half an hour to get back to the boat ramp where mum and aunty linda were waiting Lol.

Okay, then that afternoon, we drove up to biggenden to stay with some other friends of ours on their farm. We then spent the next two days with them, mucking around on the farm, Horseriding, chasing pigs, going shooting hunting rabbits and hares, and helping out round the place. On the first morning, they were just finishing up branding, tagging, vaccinating and de-horning the last of their cattle (they'd been doing it all week) and so we got to help out a bit with that, and I branded a cow! (and nearly got kicked by it too...) I'll spare you the more gruesome photos of all this. Also that night we had a campout on the property (mandy and michael (my friends we were staying with) Jarrod (their cousin who was staying with their nan on the neighbouring property) Aj and I) and i only got 2 hours sleep for the night cause i was too busy watching the stars. And man do they look AMAZING out in the country without city lights blocking them out. There were literally MILLIONS if not billions more than you can see from here. I even saw about 50 shooting stars in the time i was lying there.
So here's some photos of the views and stuff out there.

(hehe, Uncle Keith got the cruiser stuck on the ridge when we were driving all our gear up to our campsite and dad was trying to rock it, RV style, to get it off! in the end we towed it with our car to get it off...)
Then after biggenden, we went back to hervey bay. The second day back there, i went up to the CYC campsite with my nan to hand in some forms for some other girls, and junior camp had just started, but they were short of leaders for the girls, so long story short, i volunteered, went back to nans place, grabbed my stuff and was a leader for the week. My girls were the oldest on the camp, so all 11-13, and man were they noisy! But yeah, they were awesome, and fairly well behaved, apart from a few little...incidents...such as me getting attacked at 6:30am, pinned down on my bed, and smothered in flouro pink zinc that doesnt come off. Oh well, it was funny, and you can't really blame em. So i had them for a week, then the day junior finished, was senior camp. I managed to bring myself to talking to Josiah, my 'friend' who i talked about last post, but, long story short, he really can't take a hint, and ended up getting hit a fair few times for the week. But it's all over and done with now, and apart from that, the camp was really good, so i'm not gonna complain. The afternoon that i got back to nans place, i was soooo tired and went to go have a nap at 2:30 in the arvo, and woke up at 7 he next morning. I CANT BELIEVE I MISSED DINNER!!
So that's most of what happened for my holidays, cause i came back home two days after camp.
Hope everyone else has enjoyed their hols so far!!
(sorry the post was so loooooong!!)
Peace and Love will conquer all!
